LET’S GET “SPRITZY”: DIY linen spray

Linen spray is a wonderful indulgence! It also makes a great gift! Here’s how you can personalize it and can make it yourself.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:
• 2 oz vodka
• 4 oz water
• 20-30 drops of fragrance oils ( we used Original Scent’s SHEER MUSK oil)
• Personalized label for that extra finished touch

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Combine the following in a pretty glass spray bottle: Shake up the bottle before use.

2) Spritz it in the morning before you make your bed or it in the evenings right before bed. and spritz a little on you! A little indulgence can be a good thing :))

A GIFT TO REMEMBER: scented gift cards

Sending holiday cards to family and loved ones is a tradition for many people this time of year. So, when you are sending out your holiday cards this year, why not add the perfect personal touch, with fragrance!

Did you know that one of the most powerful keys to recall memories is through the sense of smell. So, we figured this is right up our alley….

One of the reasons why this holiday tip is so amazing is because it truly allows for your imagination to thrive. So, let’s get put our crafty caps on, and get the creative juices flowing. You can use any fragrance oil from your local health food store (Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc) it can be essential or synthetic. For the Holiday you might choose Peppermint, Pine or Cinnamon oil. Or, If you want, you can order a sample size of your custom Original Scent oil and follow the directions below.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:
• Fragrance Oil or Original Scent Oil
• Unscented Hairspray (get this from your local market or drug store)
• Empty spritzing bottle if you want to personalize the bottle with a new label
• Elmer’s Glue
• Gift Card

INSTRUCTIONS:

** Make sure to spritz your card PRIOR to printing or writing on your card and wait at least 10 minutes for it to dry!

1) Add 30 drops of fragrance oil to your unscented hairspray bottle / Spray your card with your newly scented hairspray.

2) Time to add GLITTER or DECOR
Mix 20-30 drops of fragrance oil to two (2oz) of Elmer’s glue / add glitter decor to your card

The fun does not have to stop there. By scenting the Elmer’s glue and hairspray, you can fragrance any of your gift tags too. Just simply replace any adhesive steps out with your scented glue and you are good to go. This project idea brings a whole new meaning to lasting memories!
